Buenos Aires

Tuesday, February 11, 2020

I was able to sneak away for a little R&R with the hubby over our 20th anniversary
He had work meetings during the day so this left me time to explore the beautiful city of Buenos Aires
It's charming despite the rain that covered the city for 2 of the 3 days we were there
Delicious food, lovely architecture and a visit to the temple

Exploring the main square for just a minute while the rain let up

Evita's memorial tomb

Loved this window display, a little difficult to read but something I hope our family is striving for

Gorgeous opera house

I found tulips! I haven't seen tulips since I left the US three years ago

We haven't aged a bit in the past 20 years

Iguaçu Falls via Argentina

Friday, May 18, 2018

Day two we headed to Argentina where I learned that my passport had expired
Thankfully we had a great tour guide and a back up to get me through

The front of our bus in Argentina and the back in Brasil

Taking in the views of the tri-country river where Brasil, Argentina & Paraguay all converge

Stopping at the first outlook
Amazing!!

Some pretty awesome waterfalls and spectacular views
Argentina side is different in that you take a series of trains and trails to see the falls from different angles

I love this man and am so grateful to see this beautiful world with him by my side

Waiting for the train and getting our hair done, time management girlie's

Bree was sick this day and not in the mood for pictures
I being a compliant mother took them anyway :)
Lots of coke and shade for her through the day

My little butterfly catcher. They were everywhere and became annoying by the days end

I spy with my little eyes Dad and the pink hat girlies Gwen & Jo

Sometimes our life feels like a zoo!
