JK Bridge

Juscelino Kubitschek Bridge, commonly called Ponte JK, is a steel and concrete arch bridge across Lake Paranoá in Brasília, Brazil. It connects the eastern shore of the lake – where Lago Sul, Paranoá and Brasília International Airport are located – to Brasília's city center, via the Monumental Axis. Opened to traffic on December 15, 2002, its distinctive silhouette quickly became a Brasília landmark.

Brasilia's Cathedral

The Cathedral of Brasília is the Roman Catholic cathedral serving Brasília, Brazil, and serves as the seat of the Archdiocese of Brasília. It was designed by Oscar Niemeyer, and was completed and dedicated on May 31, 1970. The cathedral is a hyperboloid structure constructed from 16 concrete columns, weighing 90 tons each.

Bree's Bake Shop

Bree made her first bake shop order this past weekend

She did an awesome job baking and frosting 90 cupcakes 

I'm so thankful for people in the area that are willing to support my girls 

with their business ventures and allow them a way to make money

and the cupcakes were super delicious

and she got to compute costs and profit

They were certainly spoiled this year with goddies in their baskets

 This little one has been beginning for a sewing lesson

forever...and ever

Last Saturday we carved out some time and made it happen

and she was so happy, so super happy

Found a super simple online bunny pattern and put her to work

She did an awesome job!

   

March tidbits

Life and tidbits in March...

 An especially heavy mail room day

It's like Christmas for my kids

Little was pleased as punch to recite the scripture in primary today

I was lucky to be playing the piano that week and got to hear her

My little realized this month that 4 triangles equal a square and I have been shortchanging her a grilled cheese triangle for the past 3 years of her life

Lovely bike ride this month until I made the downhill descent and was stung multiple times

Had to pull off the road and make a mud patch until I could get home and remove the stinger :(
